I've loved Warcraft ever since the original and I think I know quite a lot about Warcraft lore. But I don't think I've got the energy for another thread at the moment. I might join later tho.
There are problems with your thread xento... 1. What exactly is the point? You haven't introduced a problem as yet, all you've got is some guy hunting. Not good. 2. You spend ages describing the character, and then have a couple of little paragraphs detailing a hunt. Not good. 3. You over describe! Everything he does is slender, or graceful, or considerate, or some shit like that. You don't need to do it, it's something that detracts from the story, and highlights your lack of experience/skill as a writer. Not good.
It's better than saysing "He's an elf" for a description. I put the hunt setting just to get it going. I expected others to join in and then we would formulate what happens next together, instead of having a huge battle on the first post. As for what it's ABOUT, I have to admit I'm not quite sure yet. I have a faint idea, but I wanted to see who would join so I could decide what happenes based on the RPers in the thread.
I've only played the third installment and find it quite good. I would like to join in but I'll need more details. And I agree with Jarinor. You're too long-winded. If your only alternative is then I feel sorry for you. On a lighter note, "A glance would tell he's elven." should be fancy enough for you.
