    i realized this last night while playing my gnome only child mage. you can carry around several mage staffs or arcane stafffs and use all their mana up casting spells, then switch to a new one. this made it possible for my level 2 gnome to take out lukan and his gang with many castings of harm. this works best in turn based combat and is especially deadly with a speed potion. just thought id share the revelation that hit me at 1 am last night

    Great idea, once you destoy Tulla, you can get about 16 arcane staves, then you'll be invincible (hahahaha).

    The only problem is that you're not about to defeat rock golems and other higher-level baddies just using Harm. The most efficient killer (IMO anyway), Fireflash, will drain your Fatigue faster than your staves can stave off your death. (Ok, that pun wasn't funny. Sue me.)

    Lightning Bolt is far better than Fireflash for those annoying Golems & 2 or 3 Arcane Staves will get you through most anything.

    at level ten i have fireflash, harm, jolt, and lightning bolt for offensive spells. i think ill be ok

    If you have 100 ma, harm kills almost anything, and with 80 mana per staff.
