spiders in wheel clan

i am doing the wheel clan quest to kill all the spiders but i cant complete it. i have gone through all the passages in the section where you get the quest and killed everything there, but it wont let me tell him this. one odd thing is that i dont remember fighting the big spider that i did last time. ive come to the room with the eggs and mummified bodies but there was no big spider there. i could use some help.

 

I had this problem last time. I bet you that one of the little spiders is alive somewhere in the cavern hiding against a wall or something...... happened to me, took me 10 minutes to find the little bugger.

 

i guess that ill have to walk through every passage without having tempus fugit or any other speed spells running. that will at least give the spiders a chance to find me.

 

Yeah, cept when I did it the spider was afraid of me or something and wouldnt attack.
