It sounds like you accidentally exercised and are now experiencing Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. My advice is to remain sedentary until it goes away. Should take no more than 48 hours.

And then continue to remain sedentary after that, so that it never happens again.

You pulled a muscle while banging. If you plan on banging more in the future, do prep for light to extreme aerobic activity - stretching, hydration, proper diet. Also, invest in some prophylactics if this is the first place you go in your head.

Actually, the latest research indicates that stretching does nothing to prevent such injuries.

Was your thigh on fire in some way? That's usually what's going on when I get a slight burning sensation.

It makes you feel so good after you stretch, though. If I'd unearthed that information, I would have never let it go to the public. It's like taking away the placebo that saves hundreds of lives.

I have nothing against people doing things that make them feel good.

This morning when I woke, I had a slight burning sensation in my lower left thigh, and I immediately thought of this thread. It went away pretty quickly though, so it was probably just that I slept with my leg at an odd angle or something.

Either that, or a parasite you've had burrowing inside of you for the last few weeks decided to stop chewing on your flesh for a short period of time. Just something to think about.

In my last year of high school, I had these two reddish/purple splotches on my thighs. Still not entirely sure what they were. I think they were an allergic reaction to something, because they disappeared when I moved to a different province for university.

Anyways, my doctor wasn't much help because he was convinced that I was the first sign of an AIDS epidemic in rural New Brunswick, so he just made me have a bunch of blood tests.

The good news is that I definitely did not have AIDS! The bad news is that the doctor became very disinterested in me after that. He also forced me to reveal that I was sexually active to my mother during a family appointment. What a jerk.

He was funny, though. Started as a breast reduction specialist, but left that field because he couldn't stand to cut up breasts any longer.

This sounds like a spider infestation beneath the skin. Starts small, then there's thousands of tiny transparent bastards crawling in the puss filled infection, laying eggs in muscles and nibbling on fat. They can't get out because human skin is too thick, so they just multiply until the host dies of sepsis.

I'm not quite sure what I was expecting when I clicked this thread.

Now that I'm in here I'm not at all surprised.
