Not yet, I'm trying to just get stuff from looting chests and rifling through the deaders. If it comes down to it, I may have to break down and buy something, but money rains from the sky in Arcanum. (I wish it did in real life too!)
About the only things you cant find or buy are the tech items, which kinda blows. There's not a single tech shop anywhere in Arcanum, but plenty of junk shops?! Kind of biased if you ask me.

Hey Maximus, would you be more specific as to what a tech shop should be? There are the inventors, but you seem to be looking for more.

Yeah, like going into a shop and buying some mechanized plate, maybe a pyro-axe, stuff like that. Then I wouldn't have to spend all my points in tech skills.

Okay - now that makes sense. And it is something else that should have been in the game.

Holy hell - I just went up a level.....

Maybe they wanted more "educated" citizens roaming Arcanum? I don't know. It's a pretty neat concept, though. I can't tell you how many times I've tried just buying what I need, only to find there's next to no chance what I want will appear when I want, and end up leveling up just so I can make it.

Yes, you did go up in rank...DEATH CLAW!

*chuckle* A city Dwarf with the title of Death Claw....
Kind of sounds like an oxymoron.

Having a tech shop would be absolutely terrible. It would entirely wipe out the point of having technological characters.

I'll be nice this time and tell you a thing or two. There are certain rules that you must follow here on TA, and you've just broken one of them.

What you've done is called "gravedigging". It's as simple as it sounds; you have posted in an old thread. You aren't allowed to do that.

You are not allowed to double-post either, or to triple-post, for that matter.

Good grammar is a great part of this forum, too. Write as good as you can as much as you can and everybody will be nice (except if you pick a fight).

Also, don't screw around with the elders; you get killed if you do.

That's about it. Welcome to TA ^^

True, but virtually all of the threads here are old.

I got the reference, but it's still kind of creepy since I am a guy.

If I posted a new thread just to say what I said, no one would have known what I was talking about. It's not important though; I don't think I'll be coming back here. The majority of new topics are either gameplay questions or people complaining that they want the game modded until no semblance of challenge remains. There isn't much interesting discussion to be had.

I think this is a grammatically acceptable post. I wrote as WELL as I could. I can only hope the "elders" don't kill me with their "STFU n00b!"s.

We're not like that! ALmost everyone here are intelligent, eloquent people. We take "STFU n00b" to a whole different level.

They would probably not say that. But, on the other hand, they forgot to flame me. Therefor, I'm not sure what thay'll say.
