Persuasive Mage without Harm build

    Ok, so after a long while I will play this great game again. I thought of making a persuasive mage for myself, but since Harm is OP, I will not be using that spell. Doesn't mean I can't/won't invest in black necromantic. Anyway, also playing without the reflection shield exploit.
    So I was thinking of an Elf Charlatan's Protege for a HUGE CHA bonus, then 2 points in persuasion and the rest into magic. What would you suggest as starting magic spells? And what would be useful as I level up mostly. I know the game is easy and all builds can finish the game, but I would like it to go smooth for the first time after a long break :)
    So my thoughts were - Summoning, Fire, Force for starters. Also I will want to be able to do some damage myself later on (not necessarily from the start), so what would you suggest on that front, since harm is not an option? Thanks!

    Hello,

    As to starting spells,

    Earth 2, throw stone, is nearly as overpowered as Harm.

    Heal is another good starting spell.

    Mental 1 and 2 would be useful also.

    Summon Ogre, level 3, is all you really need to solo the game.
