Magnus - applauding??

WTF??

I decided to kill Gideon Laier at T'sen-Ang and steal his stuff, and I thought, to hell with Magnus, and he rabbits on about him being a decent type... when I noticed that he applauded me. Actions and all.

This is the first time I've noticed it. Afterwards, when I accidentally hit the spacebar whilst fighting in an encounter, Magnus sheaths his sword and applauds.

Am I the first to notice this??

He's wearing a small arcane robes.

 

He is physically applauding?

 

Yeah, if he is magickal and evil, that would explain his behaviour.

 

Neither or. He's wearing small arcane robes, charmed gloves that I found thanks to my name and background, and other things like a helmet, boots, dented sheild and broadsword.

YES, physically clapping. I have no idea....

Plus, the Iron clan sequence is messed up. But I think it's because I'm playing unpatched.

Magnus is probably using a bandage.

 

That could be it...but I've seen him say some pretty strange things as I run about town and kill.
Well, after I gave him the Dark Helm. It could be that he's using a bandage and he's applauding Jaz at the same time.

 

Wuh? Bandange? What does that have to do with anything??

When you (or any other character) use(s) a bandage, there's a specific animation that follows that slightly resembles applause. Does Magnus have any sort of bandage in his inventory?

 

Nope. Not till afterwards.

Whatever it was, it isn't happening now.
