Lockpicks and virgil

how the hell can i make him pick a lock for me??
i gave him the lockpicks(actually a skeleton key)
but what do i do next?

 

You don't need to give Virgil the Dumbass the tools. Use them yourself. If he has more Lockpicking skill than you do, he'll step forward and say "let me handle that", or something, and attempt to pick the lock.

I stand a couple paces away from the container or door, then select the lockpicking icon and the container/door. At this point Virgil steps up and attemps to pick the lock for me.

Lethran's right, lockpicks go into the "use box of the inventory interface."(p.63)

Just leave the picks in your hot item area and use them like any other item.

and i have more pickloking skill than virgil!

If you have more Skill than Virgil the Dumbass, why don't you pick your own damn locks and quit trying to make him do it?! :smile:

 

NEVER let Virgil handle your lockpicks, in my expierence he has a history of royally fucking over a container and jamming it
