Vorak, where'd you got this information? And, I too don't understand are you serious or not?
Very serious. Truely very sad indeed.
It's a shame, really. Isn't it, Telcontar?
Well, I guess you could say that the upside of it all was that none of them had to suffer before they died, unless you count the OHSHITOSHITOSHIT kinda feeling one experiences when flying towards a tree in 90 mph.
It appears that none of them wore seatbelts, but then again, the way their car got mangled, it wouldn't have mattered anyway.
It is a shame Wolf, snuffed out in his prime. And DE is right they were travelling so fast they probably never felt being torn in half. I shouldnt be disrespectful like that but I sleep better at night knowing they wern't slowly crushed to death or something. I was going to fly up to the funeral but I thought it would be weird when people asked how I knew the man.
Yeah, going to the service would have been a little weird....
"I greatly admired your sons work....."
Best to let sleeping dogs lie really.
Be at peace.....friend.
... You do realize that Vorak has said this about Chris Beddoes, Snowmane, Jarinor, and another person or two, right? Honestly, pretty much everyone who's left this forum has died thanks to that damn tree.
btw, I found a fb for someone named Chris Beddoes. Anyone creepy enough to ask if it's the same one who used to do Arcanum editing?
I never said Jarinor or Snowmane were dead.
But they have to be. There is no possible other explanations why they havn't posted on this forum. None at all.
Well DU said Jar was dead (and in a way he is), but last I heard Snowmayne had left because modelling swimwear was more interesting than hanging around here.
Swimwear? Nice to know where you stand atvleast....
OK I appreciate that this is some serious post thromancy, but I really enjoyed Arcanum back in the day and I always wonderd why the single player wasn't avaiable to play as a multi-player, just to play wit ha friend on a LAN.
Is it actually possible to do this?
if so can someone PM and let me know how!
Of course Arcanum's multiplayer feature isn't any good. Also I can't remember if I ever got that to actually work. (Which means I probably didn't.)
You, xento and I got it to work once... for about five seconds before it crashed down on us, I think.
Yes, but that wasn't the main module. I believe we played Hells Gate.
Arcanum Multiplayer Single player Module
This is a repeat from another post, but I guess some russians went to all the trouble of making the Single player module work multiplayer

I translated their pages, downloaded it, and it ended up working. They use warpstones at the exits of levels to avoid using the world map
Thanks for the info, Liberty!
Nice to know someone is trying to make this work.
-Was- working on it, the owner of that site is Crypton who IIRC is giving up on arcanum related projects.
That site goes down in July
