This is the thread where we find people on the internet. I found TheDavisChanger in the comments section of the latest Project Zomboid blog post. It was a nice find, since I normally don't look there.
I remember at one point finding Zanza's exact (down to the address, thanks Google!) place of work. This was due to a post he made about something that made me think "Wow, I could really do bad things with this information if I was a psycho." In addition, Zanza posted about other minor details regarding tasks he performed at said location. These two things together (combined with a little clever sleuthing at said location) would have allowed me to gather enough information to break into Zanza's house and sack-tickle him awake one night. But, that wasn't "on the internet" at all, so I'm not sure why I shared this story. But fuck all of you I'm not deleting this gold.
Christ, I don't remember the details anymore. And since I am decidedly *not* crazy I didn't actually save the information. Some museum somewhere in Australia if I recall correctly. It's been awhile. Anywho, I self-creeped on myself just now as a test and was able to find shit as far back as forums I used to frequent back in 2004
Yup, we're pretty much building our own Stasi archives on teh Internetz. Your mental disorders expressed by your various Internet personas, your entire search engine history, your phobias, dislikes and prejudices, a comprehensive list of your favourite tranny porn actresses... it's all there, up for grabs for any totalitarian agent willing to use it against you.
Funny thing is, when you google image search my name, my picture doesn't come up. But when you google image search the names of my colleagues, my picture does, indeed, appear.
