Me too because they are hilarious.

I also tried watching the 1st episode but ehhhh it's for young girls. The animation is good and stuff but not my thing.

 

What's more upsetting is the belief that it's marshmellowy.

 

If it's of any consolation, the first few episodes are of the more luscious and bland sort. Introductory episodes always are a bit awkward.

If anyone would be willing to give the series a go, I'd actually recommend jumping to episodes 1 + 2 from the second season ("The Return of Harmony" part 1 & 2), if only because the spirit of chaos and disharmony aka Discord (voiced by and partly inspired by Q from Stark Trek) is made of pure awesome.

Also, I'm now hungry for marshmallows. TDC, my body is ready.

Stumbled upon a pack of bronies at a fantasy/SF convention last weekend. When I trolled them that a certain pony from the show could possibly be a tranny, one of them was visibly on the verge of becoming aggressive. That's just wrong.

You should have persisted with the accusations, if only so the guy had to explain to the police why he tried to attack you - "Well, he said my favourite My Little Pony character wasn't the fiesty little female pony she appears to be. Really wouldn't you have done the same in my position, officer?"

I can remember playing with those as a kid, though due to my young age all I could come up with were random mishmashes of colours instead of some rather snazzy looking ponies. Thinking back, it's probably not the most responsible thing a child should be playing with - something where you have to use a hot iron to melt plastic together.

 

For some months now, every now and again, just before I nod off, I think "did Muro really recommend MLP for realsies?"

It's taken me this long to accept the reality.
