You enjoy picking fights with people don't you.

And why do you have two x's in your name. That's pretty hardcore gangsta straight-up mad skillz man.

    anyways...

im going to try and steer this thing back on topic :)

making a modding team for arcanum will be kinda hard, since there is no integration program, where one guy who is working on a town, and another guy who is working on a different town can 'combine' the mods together. it would work, however, if you assigned one guy modding and one guy doing the dialog or something.

as for me, im currently working on a solo project ( a prequel to be precise ) and im still not even half way thru it.

if you are still interested in doing a mod, i reccomend looking up one of the threads where rroyo is explaining how to do well...pretty much everything :D unpacking the dats..opening arcanum module..

or if you plan on making a new module entirely (not reccomended, if you want to make your own new world then NWN worlded would be wiser, bigger fanbase, and much easier to use) then just finish AMTUT and get started.

if you dont want to work a solo project, try looking for a team on the codex, although i doubt you will get much help there, but its worth a shot if your actually commited.

    Okay Shota Shernokavich!
    Thanks for your reply.
However, I think I'm gonna stick to the project of the sequel/prequel for Arcanum, and with the guys that are starting this project: http://projectarcanum.blogspot.com/

And see what I can do to help...

so technically if i made changes to say..only caladon..then i could just add those sectors onto the files for my mod, and someone could just add them to his game from that, or have i misunderstood?

This is the way I understand it and it's what the UAP does for main map repairs.

are you going to do this for your next version of WIP, or have you already done too many changes all over the map, that it would be a real hassle?

Full maps are the best way for me.
I make too many changes per area over time.
