I'm just about to look for the guy that will take me to the Isle of Despair, and I'm afraid I'm going to lose Magnus. I guess that along the way I've inadvertently done some things he hasn't liked, and when I did the "get rid of the pigs" quest in Ashbery, he says that that's the last straw and he won't follow me any more.

Of course, I can reload at that point and not do that quest -- but what actions can I take to repair my relationship with him? My alignment is very good, so that's not the problem. In the dialogue there's a question that allows me to ask him what's wrong, and he tells me I can make things up by getting him some dwarven snuff, but then my only option is to say (rather huffily, it sounds like) that I won't do that for him.

    Help! What can I do?
    Thanks.

depending on where u are .... in caladon u can buy him drawven platemail or chainmail.... get him small items too ... like a small studded leather armour..... or chainmail..... i think he's just greedy and wants more things..... remember not to give him everything at a time ......

oh yeah check armour stores.... sometimes that carry useful stuff

General Stores are your best bet, they nearly always have Dwarven Snuff.
