This setup is really intriguing and I'd really like to see how it develops, so please, don't let this fizzle out.

It went quite awful, but it'll probably do just fine. Fucking metaethics.

Anyway, I've posted. Let the story unfold!

Don't worry, it's just been two days. I'll try to post within the next few hours and then someone will hopefully toss in something new.

I would, however, like to make a suggestion. That would be to avoid as much dialogue as possible, since it complicates posting and prevents others, who are not a part of that particular dialogue, to jump in.

I'm not saying that we should skip dialogue all together, I just think that we should cut down on it a bit. Simply describe what's been said ("Kaara attempted to persuade Chiron into entering an alliance with her master, appealing to his kindness and whatever") and then let the anyone listening to the conversation toss in their response ("Chiron listened with great patience and no small amount of attention. He then told the zombie harlot to go fuck herself and buried her alive (or dead, as it were)"). This sort of dialogue is much easier to pick up again, if someone were to post something entirely different in between.

    What do you think?

I think that would be wise.

Please excuse my waxing lyrical in character.

Despite ending with a question, I didn't intend to keep Chiron talking in a dialogue, just to say, with lots of spare time on my hands, that 'the Muan offers a sincere compromise to ease Chiron's apprehensions (which she perceives by dint of her millennia of experience). [End of scene.]'

Sigh. I lack the dedication for forum RP in general. Now I am sad.

I thought this had died out! I'm without a computer for the next two days, but I'll start being more active after that.

"That is not dead which can eternal lie, yet with stranger eons, even death may die."

That Lovecraft was a fantabulous subject.

I guess I'll keep posting character actions in a void until all your bases are belong to us.

Or at least until I work up the courage/motivation to write something. Anything.

I'm torn between posting like I do now and doing more political stuff like ytzk...

I like the way the godly game 2.0 worked.

N actions per week. Prose not essential.

So we (ytzk excluded) got lazy and the game died. But, honestly, I think the best part of the game is making up the background and creating the nations. I've got another nice map lying around. How about another game? ;)
