There was a request for the map feature so I am adding that to a planned version 1.2 release in the future. I am interested in any comments or suggestions regarding features that players would like to see. I will look at adding them if possible before the 1.2 release. Don't be shy! It can't hurt to ask.
You should maybe add a third faction that is the combat guys. 'Caus there's magic and technology, what about combat only guys?
That is an excellent idea. Actually, the original concept had both a Barbarian faction and a Thieves guild called the League of Shadows. Since this is my first mod I decided to cut these things in order to make a complete game, instead of trying to do too much and never finishing. But I may include this in an expansion pack!
