You get a fate point, but by that point I already have about ten, so...yeah I normally let her die fighting her way out.
Oddly enough, she'd live every time if my party didn't gang-rape her with pyro-axes.

So how does one get the fate point from it? I've tried and tried with no success.

I've never got a fate point from releasing her/helping her escape. Are you sure you said sheep?

I'm not sure on the accuracy of that list, for instance:
Thats the exact opposite of what you have to do, you have to clear Jormund's name by proving that Sharpe did it.

Has anyone tried taking her off the island, rather than delivering her to the half-neked lezbos? After all, she says she was born there and so is innocent of any crimes....

Yeah, she thanks you and wanders away.

Yeah, you take about three steps from the ship and that gong noise for a completed quest goes off and she leaves.

If the guards unsult me when I reach the gate (and they usually do), I tend to kill the whole island, after finishing Norians quest. I HATE that settlement.

Eh, I dunno. Maybe I somehow got eleven fate points before getting to the Isle of Despair and thought the cause was Boggs.
Yeah, I like when the guards try and stop me. I either say I bought Cynthia from Thorvald, or I essentially tell them to shut their breath-holes and kill everyone (even though that's not a real response).

It will be soon, I'm almost at Tarant with my 'Kill everyone without ever letting them open their mouth' character. I called him Lord Passive the Mime.

Lord Passive the Mime...great stuff, there. To bad there aren't any mime NPC's in Arcanum. It would make dressing Lord Passive much easier.

As it is a normal suit has had to suffice, as he doesn't ever talk to anyone, so he can't buy new stuff or identify anything he finds.

That's not SOOO bad. Have you made him into some sort of bandit or thief?

Well, currently I have a less sociopath serial killer. I trained him, made him master in meelee+dodge+firearms, the easiest way to achieve this was to complete the gods quest (a rather buggy solution, but who the fuck cares?). I have killed everyone in Stillwater and the Isle of Despair, the next will be Shrouded Hills, the Bedookan Village, and so forth...
I will need some identification, and a few shopkeepers, and so forth... For identification, I will try to learn divination#5. If that won't work, I will keep a wise woman. And for shopkeepers... I will try to kill everyone else in Tarant using hexed items.

Bah, my guy hasn't even spoken a word since he bludgeoned Virgil to death, he needs nobody.

I'm curious, how do you progress the game without talking to Bates?
Or do you just head on off to the new location covered in blood and mime, "who's next?"

You have to kill Stringy Pete, take his ship and then attack Nasrudin when you first meet him. You get teleported to the Void automatically upon Nasrudin's death. I guess its a fail safe so your game doesn't get screwed.

If you just charge Bates mansion and kill the lot inside it, you can find his journal with the location of the BMC inside his bedroom drawer.
