Wow, that's a work of art. But $440? Jeez.

    Get it. Now.

This is the finest piece of equipment you have asked for the HoL's opinion on.

Sweet sword. I prefer fantasy and medieval swords, myself, but I do like that bamboo katana.

Check with Bud K as well. Often the same stuff is available from them at a large discount. They carry most every quality from el cheapo to the best. Those blade dealers at Sci-Fi cons & SCA events mostly shop Bud K.

Very nice, always been a fan of Samurai swords.

But seriously, if you want to invest in one, save up and buy a proper reproduction No-Dachi two-handed Samurai sabre from the Feudal era.

    Regards,
    Morden

Pah, Everyone and his dog likes kill-sticks and death-launchers. Only a special kind of anti-social sociopath loves bows 'n' arrows...

*has an authentic Battle of Agincourt English longbow suspended over his desk*

You have too much money to spend on lethal weapons.

But yeah, that is a pretty cool sword, I figure'd it'd be an actual bamboo blade but it's a "hidden" one. Which is nifty.

Check them out, along with the 12 for $10.00 daggers & blades made in India, China & Pakastan there are a few good peices made in the USA & Japan. IIRC, they have a nice Zato Ichi style sword. BTW, I have never seen damascus blades cheaper anywhere. I am easily impressed by damascus.

I can see by your Flamberge that you are a Landsknecht,

You can see by my Flamberge that I am one too,

You can see by our Flambergen that we are both Landsknechts,

If you get a Flamberge you can be a Landsknecht too.

    :D

    Oh yes, genuine yew-wood I presume? 8)

Apart from that, Flamberge...? *drools* I had one as my primary melee weapon through most or Arcanum, looks the job, and does it too.

    Regards,
    Morden

German mercany solider, CA. 1475 - 1650. Forerunner of natoinal armys. Massive pike formations, with big men carrying BIG swords guarding the flanks. The Flamberge was used as an anti pike weapon. The "double pay men" (no, I can't say that in German) were the heaviest armored of the bunch & walked into the opposing pike formation with big figure eight swings, brushing the pikes aside & decapitating them. Clothing that makes a Mac Daddy look conservativly dressed. Considered the scum of the earth by the townsfolk. If they were around today, they would ride with the Hell's Angles. I did a Landsknecht in the SCA for a couple of decades.

Put out of busness by aquibusses, chain shot, & grape shot.
