The Troll in the movie of the same name was kinda cool.

Gandalf (David Bowie) of the Lyberath (check spelling) I liked also.

I know Shredder is from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, but are all those other guys anime characters or what?

Shredder was pretty cool in his time though .

Sephiroth and Kefka are from the Final Fantasy games. FF7 and FF6, respectively.

My favorite goes to the Gary Oldman character from The Professional. He's just a dirty old, pill-popping, corrupt-cop bastard.

    Michael Meyers (from "Halloween").
Glenn Close's character in "Fatal Attraction".

    • Edmund Blackadder although he's kind of an anit-hero for (for me at least)
    • Norman Stansfield (bent vice squad cop) from the film, Léon¹. This is the same guy Milo said and in the same film.
    • Macbeth more for the cool fate Shakespeare worked out for him than for the character.
    • Smaug not the first dragon I encountered, but the first big one [IMG]

¹ Milo, if you liked 'The Professional' and haven't seen 'Kiss of the Dragon', I can recommend it. It has the same director and definite similarities in the main protagonists.

I second Keyser Soze. How could I forget that guy?

Fatman - Is "Kiss of the Dragon" that Jet Li movie that came out a little while ago? If it is, then I missed it in the theaters. I'll have to wait for DVD. Isn't this the same director that did "La Femme Nikita"? I missed that one, too, although I saw the remade American version "Point of No Return". It was pretty weak, but you can't argue with a panty-clad Bridgette Fonda. I'd like to see the original.

EDIT - And how did you do that superscript "1"?

Like you'd be trying to argue with her, anyway.

Yeah, that's the one. I have seen a shedload of films in the cinema this year (and last) and KoD is certainly amongst the best (in an action-packed kind of way). Lysa said the same thing, and she's more discerning than me.

'La Femme Nikita' - there's just so much style in the title. In three words it proclaims feminine beauty, grace, deadliness and other things like that.

I guess I should see the movie as well, see if it lives up to the title .

The evil that befell Silent Hill, I know it's not really a person, but I loved that game, truly, I felt more scared playing that game than I will ever again in my life. People that haven't played it, or think it sucks, well, thay just don't know what true horror means

I think the second one of those is about to come out/just came out, or was my brief flick past the game channel on my new super-duper dig TV not as informative as I'd hoped?
