:thinkof: I want to play Arcanum with something new but can't come up with any new ideas for characters... Anyway, that's where you guys (and girls) come into the picture! I've already tried all the obvious things, like Half ogre mage (evil) or Gnome Warrior-melee (evil) or a half orc Tech proffesor or... well you get my point... Give me some weird ideas that there's not chance I might have tried Think along the lines of "Members of society that shouldn't exist even in a Fantasy realm". oh, and thanks!

I think a gnome with an int of 3 would be great. That, and beautiful. Make it strikingly good lucking, but dumb as a post (I swear this is, in no ways, a reflection of a girl I recently met).

How about a guy that only uses improvised weapons? Throw ANYTHING to your opponent, including clothing, crystal balls, books, metal tubes, coins, etc.

You need to stop dreaming then. I either don't dream or I don't remember my dreams (not sure which one it actually is) and I'm happy with it that way. The only dreams I have are daydreams but they rock since you can influence them.
Problem is, I'm a writer. I remember quite a lot of my dreams - hell, I mine them for inspiration. This only backfires on me when I see/experience something messed up enough to affect me... and the Skein was certainly that... That entire dungeon was shit-scary. When someone makes a game area so fucking messed up that hearing people laugh makes you curl up and twitch like Captain Darling meeting Lord Flasheart, you know you're playing something special. Now if only it would get out of my head long enough for me to sleep...

Play as Frankenstein monster and an elf, whos really good at playing cards and has a fixation for collecting precious jewels. Then you could set up a chest somewhere deep underground. Say the lair of the Bellerogrim and just fill it with riches!! Then pile on the traps and proceed to further your character from their. Oh and he's a technologically aligned and a bit of thief too. Hows that for a character!
