    i hear you...i have arcanum, but i have never played fall out 1 or 2...with all the advice i got in RPG'S What Next? i can't wait to get them...

    Fallout 1 and 2 are brilliant. Every RPG'er should play them. Absolute classics.

    I hope the game works out okay for you, flamethrower. Some people have a lot of trouble with it.

    Oh. Well, I feel sorry for those who have a bug-ridden time with Arcanum...I guess it would kinda sour the experience and lower your opinion of the game...

    True, but not in my case. I had a ton of trouble with the game, but I still like it.

    If you want to see some true examples of bitterness brought on by game bugs, check out the threads over at the Sierra Arcanum boards. Some people over there live just to tell any and everyone how much the game sucks, and how the developers at Troika are responsible not only for robbing them of their childhoods, they also raped their mothers and sold their children into slavery. And they're probably responsible for the recent Anthrax attacks, too. All because "Like WTF? OMG, like Arcanum won't run AT ALL!!!!1 OMG, WTF is up with the bugs?!"

    Hehehehe, nice one :smile:. Honestly though, I just haven't encountered as many bugs. I've played games with heaps more (and more debilitating as well) bugs ie Fallout 2, before the patch. Half-life's engine is seriously flawed, but Valve still managed to make a great game which many many people played. If 50k+ people can put up playing Counterstrike with the buggy half-life engine, I think that people who complain about the bugs in Arcanum can do that as well.

    arcanum is a festival of bugs 'n glitches. But I can't say I would assault anyone 'cause of it. there are many character behaviour flaws aswell.

    hang in there arcanum is WELL worth the wait no matter how long (well nearly), and i have had more trouble with B.G.1 than any other game i've had

    Why do people BUY this game.
    Dont anyone here have some freinds with realy fast internet(ADSL),that are able to download the game and give it to you?

    or some computer pirates that sales some games in a realy low prices?
