Coffee is the only addiction I need. There any coffee in anime these days?

There's some at coffee-house, at least when I visited it last time, so try there.

I'm not Rosie, but allow me to recomend both "Akira" and "Steamboy" as good introductions into the world of Japanese animation. Too much of the rest is...... well, too much.

    ROBOTECH!!!!!
Or the Macross series. The first one was so weird, with that kid finding a giant space tuna floating outside of the ship...and having it turn out to be real and edible.

I suspect you need to be on tasty drugs or heavy medication to enjoy this thing you call "anime" then.
