I tinkered with the WolrdEd back in 2002 and made some simple maps with quests and dungeons. Now I wan't to return. I have a great idea of a module where you could travel to late 19th century metropolises like New York, London or Paris. The starting location and hub of the game would be Tarant. My question is: Is there a way to copy Tarant without having to recreate it inch by inch? Of course all the NPC's and dialogs would have to be recreated.

    Hello
There is indeed a way, but it will not also copy Tarant but all Arcanum Worldmap.
Just extract Arcanum.dat and take back the "Arcanum1-024-fixed" map.
