I got this spell for my last character and kept forgetting to use it after any interesting kills. Did any of you get any interesting statements or information after using this spell on a dead character?

Murder yourself through the mainquest and look for yourself. Don't want to spoil the fun for you.

    *Sigh*

What I meant to say was: play through the main quest as an evil, sadistic, murderous villain and kill all the key characters and try using conjure spirit on their bloody corpses (disintegrate not recommended). That way, you'll be able to see for yourself what conjure spirit can do and thus I don't have to spoil all your fun by telling you things in advance.

    Bloody Irishman.

    Oh.

The way you wrote your post, it sounded like murder yourself = kill yourself

Outside of the main quest there are only about 3 or 4 instances of the spell being of any use.

    # Professor James at the Elven Ruins
    # Wrath in Quintara
    # Raven has some pretty interesting dialogue if you side with the dark elves then go back and wipe out Quintara
    # Charles Brehgo, although he's pretty obscure nobody ever finds him

Please tell me those rolling eyes are there to emphasize irony.

Hey this is interesting, you`re telling me instead of being a good guy and playing along with everyone I can just be evil, kill everybody and get the information I need by killing them and using conjure spirit?

i was so surprised when i actually got a dialogue from wrath's corpse.

thought that the damn spell is another failure of the developers and wrath's dialogue actually made me rethink it all, but in the end i still think so.

i'm a bit drunk, and my sentences are a bit stupid, so i apologize in advance.

    # Gaylin has an extensive dialog when you force her to reveal the location of Qintara.

Great potential for modding though, that spell.

    Oh crap.... That's right.

    *Makes note*

Some day I'm going to have high-level mages romping through Bone Hill.
That place just got a lot more complicated.

You can also talk with Ristezze's spirit to get some informations about P. Schuyler & Sons. Of course, you can just grab his key and get the paper from the closet, but it's not so stylish...

I think some of the followers have conjure spirit speaches, also most if not all the key charachters you encounter on the main quest can be interrogated that way - Even though they usually have notes or other thing that let you continue with the story.

Because there are plenty of saves in the game which allow you to follow the plot even if you kill an important NPC - just read his note/letter/diary. However getting the info while dominating a suffering soul is much more rewarding for the necromancer's evil and twisted ways. Especially for the NPC with voices - ah, the screams of the souls in agony. It's so satisfying when the stubborn break under your power.

The key one that no one seems to have mentioned is P. Schuyler, the corpse in the basement. He's probably the only one who doesn't yell, "It hurts, it hurts, please release me." Instead, you have a nice chat.

If you talk to him, then at the end boss you might get a dialog option saying, "I have met souls not in pain." This doesn't really do anything special for you, since dialog works around it, but it was interesting to work backwards and find who you had to meet to trigger it.

But what was said earlier may be true. Many NPCs have dialog options for undead chat, but your choices are often cruel.
