It remains stationary and the map moves. Yes.
Or you aren't clicking adjacent squares and are therefore staring slack-jawed at a, "game," made by DU.

Game? It's just the world map from Fallout at the moment. I was thinking something post-apocalyptic in an urbandead.com style. Still toying around with ideas as to how I want players to build cities, attack each other, harvest resources etc... That link was just a map test I made a few months ago (and haven't done anything to since).

I've mostly been working on concepts for how I want the map to work. Large like the Fallout one where people wander around the map and then enter cities or more like this, where everything is larger:

.. or whether I combine both ideas and have the larger world map and when you enter a city, you're taken to the enlarged close-up version so you can wander around the city.

This is what Van Stran felt was a good idea, and then was surprised that they bulldozed the rain forest.

And my country is becoming a socialist heaven:
Wonder how that works, though, if you make enough money, you don't get to keep any of it?

They're rich. They're evil filth. Forcing them to sleep in the streets and eat newspapers serves them right for abusing the proletariat!

Thieves are flogged in public for their crimes, the alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit, scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, and marijuana is legal in the privacy of your own home. Crime is a serious problem. Casafortia's national animal is the wolf, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the lira.

The Holy Empire of Vyenna is a large, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its burgeoning tiger population. Its quiet, industrious population of 26 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The small government is mainly concerned with Education, although Defence and Law & Order are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 20%, but much higher for the wealthy. A healthy private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Retail and Book Publishing.

Scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, surveillance cameras are banned, there's a shortage of swinging hot spots as land development grinds to a halt, and the government is avowedly atheist. Crime is relatively low, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Vyenna's national animal is the tiger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the yen.

Wow, my average income tax rate is 93% now.

"The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out."

That was a pretty cool game!

Only bad things were that the swamps were yellow, I couldn't get above 75,000 feet or below 0 feet.

The Empire of Bakatsuki is a large, devout nation, remarkable for its burgeoning Kuma population. Its compassionate, cynical population of 32 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The enormous, corrupt government concentrates mainly on Education, although Public Transport and Healthcare are secondary priorities. The average income tax rate is 32%, but much higher for the wealthy. A small but healthy private sector is led by the Door-to-door Insurance Sales industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Retail.

The study of medicine is popular throughout Bakatsuki, the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, hunters have been known to lose limbs while attempting to 'play tag' with their prey, and a niche industry catering to S&M enthusiasts has sprung up. Crime is totally unknown. Bakatsuki's national animal is the Kuma, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Ryo.
