No I like them both, just gives me tingles picking on them. And Vyenna I have to ask why Frigo?

    I don't have a problem with either.
Dante's alright, and Stran is ok too...but everyone says stupid things at one point in time.

It's not because of his tasteful art photos, is it? And am I ever happy I avoided them...

Yes...apparently potatoes aren't capable of curiosity in the same way as other sentients.
I think it might be all the links Frigo posted in general.

I actually read through all the Helzalooney threads yesterday, and only now do I realize that what I was really looking for was Frigo's tale of their almost-encounter, that thread with the nicely coloured dialogue.

And to my shame I must admit that taters, not generally being migratory, don't suffer from excessive curiosity.

I have not any. As for Stran, he's assumed to be almost Polish, and since we're both living now in Slavic nations, dialogue is rather peaceful and constructive. :)

It's the philosophical nature engendered by his name, I'd wager. And since I'm currently reading a lot of stuff about the Wendian, Obodrite, Pomeranian and what-have-you tribes, I'm somewhat partial to the Slavs myself.

One thing that's changed, we didn't take a fucking poll for everything. This was never a mother-fuckign democracy; now, I respect democracy as the easiest form of government capable of making it's shadow rulers both look like nice guys, and provide complete, unilateral control over a population through the use of a dummy electoral system, but jesus fucking christ guys, you all need to grow some balls about doing things.

Polls and shit, we're the house of LORDS, not the house a overpaid political analysts.

Mr. Van Strudle, having Sofokl respect you is actually an insult. I wouldn't expect you to realize that.

    Me?

Why, I came for the Arcanum and stayed for the shenanigans. And the cybernations.

And maybe I have a crush on DE. Whatever.

There's nothing wrong with polls. Just so long as you're willing to ignore the results from time to time.

Also, the House of Lords is actually a democracy. They're just not elected under one.

Self-appointed democracies are the best. Polls and their results are, as so eloquently pointed out above, immaterial to the process but makes things look good for the casual visitor.

My grandma makes the best damn Strudel any of you will ever have the misfortune never to taste!

As for the names, I distinctly remember already calling you Vänstran because I thought that may have been the source of your name. Except it makes no sense unless you know Swedish.

Though my derivation was intended to be more in the nature of "vänsterprassla" -- or fooling around out of wedlock. Are you, Mr Van Stran? Are you cheating on the old lady?
