Arcanum Mod-Making Tutorial
Welcome traveller, you have done well to stumble across Amtut. The Arcanum Mod-Making Tutorial was my attempt at writing a complete tutorial for modding Arcanum. I had hoped that one day, it would be a complete beginners' guide of everything you need to know to make an Arcanum module. Unfortunately, as time has passed, things have changed. Amtut has not been completed. The news page of this site contains more details on why that is, but all that can be said is that it was fun, I enjoyed it and although it may not be complete, I hope that it inspires just enough people out there to take up Arcanum modding. If anyone would like to try and complete Amtut themselves, be warned, there's still quite a lot to do and I'm not helping, sorry.
NOTE: The Amtut Tutorial is written for WorldEd Version 1070 and NOT the latest patch, version 1074. If you are using the latest version of WorldEd, then I am afraid that the tutorial will make little sense. If you wish to change and use the old 1070 version of WorldEd (something that I highly recommend) then follow the instructions from the link below. Otherwise, expect some difficulties when attempting to make your own module by following this tutorial. Also note that I only have the English version of WorldEd 1070, if you are using a foreign language version of Arcanum, you'll need to find the appropriate version of patch 1070 somewhere else.
