Hi newbie here. I was exploring and doing quests in Tarant, i tried to drink in a bar. My stats changed and the spells i can maintain is reduced by one, when i slept in the inn my stats went back up but the spells that i can maintain is still 1 ( my intelligence returned to 8 ).
The other stat change that happened to me is my beauty stat is reduced dramatically but i didn't remember what i did before that. I tried sleeping in an inn but my stat is still low. what happened ? Are there other in game stat modifiers that alter my stats permanently? |

Check your log book for scars and your equipment for curses. _________________

Try casting and maintaining two spells at once. It's quite possible that you can maintain two spells but the upper box of the screen incorrectly only shows one free slot.

Blessings and curses are permanent.
Also don't ever equip nor give unidentified magical items to your followers (because they can be thoughtless enough to put them on themselves). Chances are they are hexed and if you're playing without the UAP, some of the negative stat modifiers can be permanent. _________________
