|

Hi. I figured myself a new rush for arcanum. Finish the game and all major/minor quests before february 1 of the first year (1885 I believe).
But to accomplish that I would require a program capable of teleporting my character to specified coordinates. You enter the coordinates and you are in the ruins of Szabo, or in Qintarra...
... Yeah I know there's a teleport spell, but it needs to know the location before. If I want to clear the wolf cave, I have to walk by myself, and lose preious days, to make it appear on the map...
Is there any genius of programming that could fulfill my wish? (Or maybe that kind of tool already exists, but I haven't found it...) |

I have two options to suggest:
1. Download WIP 6.0 and then my Arcanum Coop mod. It has exactly that kind of programming you seek. However, the module is multiplayer only. I suppose you could attempt to convert it (or fix it, rather) to work in singleplayer. It is possible, I'm just not sure how to reverse it back. Completely unnecessary, since you really only need WIP 6.0 to get all the map locations then to teleport to them.
2. Download WIP 6.0 then ask Virgil to display all the new and old locations for you. You should then be able to teleport to them all at will. |

Or simply download Virgil's Debug Menu. _________________ Is Dragon Age better than Arcanum? Good god, are you joking, of course, it is! |

RunAway : Wow, you're the Genius I was looking for ! Quick, deadly, precise (credits of these three words to Torian Kel of the Derian Ka ).
Thanks alot. I'm already downloading rroyo's WIP . 136 Mo, that's a BIG program. Days of development I think... Thank you as well rroyo
Drog Alt : Virgil Debug Menu? The one I have has only cheats for fate points, alignment, training and cash... |

VDM also marks all locations for you. And the latest version has a free teleport option. I believe, rroyo simply merged the mod into his A:WIP. _________________ Is Dragon Age better than Arcanum? Good god, are you joking, of course, it is! |

Ok. I found your Virgil Debug Menu. Thing is, when I delete the old file as said here : http://terra-arcanum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=15917
data\dlg\01324Virgil.dlg
It does nothing. And if i move away (I never delete files in a game directory, long live backups ! ) all the dlg folder, containing 3 files, Virgil doesn't speak at all, even if i click on him repeatedly...
I don't know what's going on. The debug I installed before has changed "Virgil" into "Virgin" though |
