So, how did this not hit anyone's radar? "The clue’s in the name. Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition isn’t a remake of the famed RPG classic; instead, it acknowledges the many improvements modders have created over the years while seasoning the content with some worthwhile content additions." -Leif Johnson The game scored an 81. Has anyone played it yet? I'm upsettingly without a gaming rig at present.
I've been keeping a close eye on it for a very long time. I just don't want to spend money on it till I know it is worth it. Been burned by false advertising too much in gaming lately. Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3 I'm mainly looking at you guys.
Dragon Age 2 showed exactly what is wrong with the industry. A niche game did well so they tried to introduce mainstream elements to the sequel to make the audience bigger and then wondered where their core market had disappeared too. Hopefully this game will suck far, far less.
I must be one of the few around here who didn't enjoy Dragon Age 1. I must sadly report that I've been sucked back into World of Warcraft with this stupid new expansion recently, so other gaming will likely take a back seat until 2013. But I'm curious about this game, I enjoyed the original and Icewind Dale.
Yes, I agree. Shallow and pedantic. I was curious about the release of BG: Enhanced Edition, however, I'm in the middle of a BG 2 playthrough and can't find my play disk.
