So let's try starting again (again again again ohanddidImention AGAIN?)!

    Here's the new map.

The continent is called Amium. There was once a great elvish (called themselves eldin) empire, called Eldras, which covered nearly all of Amium except for the desert in the west. The empire was advanced both technologically and magically (think Rome with extra magicians), and had a japanese look to it. It was brought down two thousand years ago by the human kingdoms of the desert, and no single nation has since come close to rivalling Eldras in size or strength. Ruins of the ancient empire can be found here and there, containing secrets and artifacts of the old world.

Amium is quite large, measuring 7000 km from north to south, and 10.500 km from east to west (~500 km per segment of the map).

For rules, guidelines and Nation Sheets, look at the first post of the original Nation RP thread. For inspiration, look at the rest of the thread.

    Let's go!

What wonders could possibly exist beyond the map's reach in that desert? The thought of it is tantalizing.

    Re:

There lies some more desert, and then the ocean. The humans of this continent originated from there.

    EDIT

I'm thinking about introducing Points of Interest on the map. These are locations of the Old World which, if explored, could yield secrets and/or artifacts. This could give you something to do other than just warring against eachother. Thoughts on this?

Sounds cool. I'm still working on the POI, hopefully I'll have finished them by tomorrow.

So creating the POI (and making them interesting) was more of a chore than I originally expected. In an attempt to get this going, I propose we could discuss the rules for the actual game. Also, we could discuss additional rules for creating your nation; should there perhaps be some kind of "creative resource" used in making your nation (1 resource per military/economic/technologic/magical unit of strength)? That could perhaps bring more balance to the actual game. Let's discuss!

    I like point systems
    And defined turn based gameplay
    But first: Who's playing?

    Speaking for myself,
I'll only play in a game
    If Zanza is banned.

Well you do tend to play with yourself anyway so I guess you can keep doing that and we'll have fun in our own game.

    Or just suck it up.

Zanza, old bean, the people who never post in the rpg forum contribute more to games than you do. You actually have a negative effect on the collaborative story telling process.

I'm not butthurt or rage quitting or any other reaction which you count as a successful outcome in a rpg, I'm simply not wasting my time in a cooperative, creative project which includes a dim witted, attention seeking troll.

But prove me wrong. Get all your friends together for a big, fun game while I cry on the sidelines. I'd like to see you try.

Now you've each said your piece and that's enough. If you want to take the argument (poop flinging) further you'll have to do it somewhere else.

Alright. I am sorry, Zanza. You didn't deserve any of that.

I won't object to joining in a game with you.

    Please excuse my bad manners.

    Peace.

Did you make this map yourself by hand? It looks amazing.

If by "made it yourself" you mean "stole it", then yes.
