In the beginning, there was nothing. And then there was something. The Nothingness started to form a universe. In this universe, it created an orb of water, and it created an orb of fire. The orb of water floated, suspended next to the orb of fire.

The Nothingness then formed Somethingness from the Nothingness. It created a set of Deities, sparking them with vast sentience.

The Nothingness was getting very tired now, but it pressed on. While the Deities were growing accustomed to their sudden new existences, the Nothingness noticed that half of the Orb was very dark. It decided to make it spin, so that the dark half would get to be bright too. Finally, the Nothingness formed into a series of distant fiery orbs, each of which was very far away, offering light to the watery orb at night time, but not heat.

    Act One: Started the Universe
Act Two: Put a big Watery Orb in the Universe
Act Three: Created a Big Firey Orb next to the big Watery Orb
Act Four: Created a series of Deities
Act Five: Made the Watery Orb spin
    Act Six: Made the stars

All glory to the nothingness. The symmetry is delicious but a bit of chaos would add some spice.

A pinch of complex carbon chains, a punch of heavy elements, shake vigorously and simmer for 20 eons, et voila! Life!

Act One: Creates the earth's core.
    Act Two: Creates the moon.
Act Three: Creates self-replicating proteins, viruses etc.
Act Four: Creates prokaryote life (small single cells).
Act Five: Creates an oxygen atmosphere.
Act Six: Creates eukaryotic life (big single cells).

A diety awoke amongst the darkness of nothingness, seeing the orb of fire the diety grew to hate the brightness of it.
The diety brought up soil from the earths core so that she might use it to shield herself from the light.
In the bowls of the earth she began to form new life from the darkness.
Foul twisted creatures of darkness, who share their creators hate for the light, only to come out onto the surface once the light had passed to the otherside of the orb of water and earth. Thus naming this period of time, Night.

    Act one: Awoke.
Act two: Parted earth from water.
Act three: Created the first evil.
Act four: Named the time between dusk and dawn.

Another Deity awoke from the Nothingness, an entity craving to explore the world it had been born to, and learn its ways. The entity came to the orb of earth and water, and inspected the species which inhabited its surface. Somewhat dissatisfied with the simplicity of the creatures, the entity decided to boost their evolution to a more interesting stage. The earten hills and plains were instantly covered with a great thick forest, stretching from one pole in the south to the other in the north. The floor of the great ocean was filled with a forest of its own; seaweeds, anemones and coral reefs stretching for miles and miles deep beneath the surface. Both of these forests were then filled with creatures far more complex than the original simple organisms. They were given different attributes, different needs and different shortcomings to set them apart from eachother, and some were made to prey on others.

Having done all this, the entity decided to finish its work with the creation of a species which imaged itself, a species capable of questioning its reality, a species capable of thought. The entity gave its crown species the means to harness and harvest the resources of the world, and let them know that they had been created by a Deity, and that they must obey and worship it or perish.

Satified at last, the entity returned to the Nothingness to wait.

Act 1: Created surface and underwater forests.
Act 2: Filled the forests with animals.
Act 3: Created my chosen species.
Act 4: Gave my chosen species the means to master the others.

From Nothing had come Something. And from Something came more. Much had happened on the orb of earth and water since the Deities had been born. Rock and dirt had split the once undisturbed waters in two. Living organisms, great and small, now stalked or swam through the forests which covered the surface of the orb. Another species dwelt underground, a blind hatred for the light of the fiery orb driving them to the shadow of the underworld. And amongst them wandered a chosen people, thriving because of their understanding and ability to learn.

Much had happed, aye, but there was much more still to come...

End of turn 1. All previously unused actions are lost. You have 6 new actions to use as you please until 23.59 o'clock three days from now.

This deity regards the dry land as the dry skin in a saucepan: Tasty, but it needs mixing in. Its will is put forth, stirring the water orb, mixing the air and earth, life and sentience, with the sea.

When the watery orb is stirred, this deity descends in the avatar of a cephalopod, and eases into the crushing depths of the watery orb like an old lady into a hot bath, and sighs in contentment.

    1) Creates clouds and rain, rivers and lakes, tsunamis and cyclones.

    2) Calls land creatures to the sea. Creates all kinds of pelagic mammals. Gives the sea hypnotic attraction.

    3) Imparts sentience to sea creatures: Awakens the minds of dolphins, whales, octopi and squid.

    4) Creates some awesome sea-monsters.

    5) Takes the form of a kraken and inhabits the crushing depths.

This diety came to call her chosen race the Shadowmancers.
This Diety and her people looked up to the surface and saw all life that had become. They realised that the new race of self realized creatures lived by the sun, this drove the creatures of darkness to hate the surface creatures.

This Diety caused the Shadowmancers to plague the forests and plains of the new race, plagued at night with malace and fear. They come to the surface to feed on, capture and torture the new race for their love of the sun.
Hoping to stay unnoticed they never come in great numbers or kill enough to to raise serious suspitions.

    Act 1: Named her race.
Act 2: Discovered a new race.
Act 3: Caused the Shadowmancers to prey on another race.

So that the children of the light might have refuge in his dominion from the Shadowmancers, this deity, Baalnawox, the lord of oceans, creates a magical floating tree-seed with food and drink for them, which spread to all the volcanic islands in the sea, where the denizens of the underworld did not dwell.

    Act Six: Invents the coconut.

When the entity returned from the Nothingness, it was furious to see how its chosen people, they who the entity had created to rule the other species of the orb, had become prey to the creatures of the underworld. In an attempt to thwart these vile beasts, the entity filled the forests with magical stones which would absorb the light of the sun by day and glow by that power by night. It also taught its chosen people to mine and work iron, so that they were not without defence should the shadow-dwellers come again. Finally, the entity erected shelters made of earth and stone in which its species could hide in times of danger.

Satisfied for now, but with a watchful eye still fixed upon the orb, the entity laid itself to rest and waited.

    Act 1: Created glowstones
Act 2: Taught my people the riddle of steel ( ;) )
Act 3: Created shelters for my people

Revolted by the newly created glow stones, the shadowmancers were relegated to the outsides of the forests and society. But still the Shadowmancers lay in wait, preying on any that strayed to far.

Waiting for the day they could overthrow the glow stones, The diety and her Shadowmancers plotted and pondered in the underworld on ways to destroy the glowstones. This diety began to build up a civilization in the underworld, giving the Shadowmancers order and rank.

The Shadow Mancers came to call thier creator "Night-Shade"

Act 4: Shadowmancers banished away from the children of light.
Act 5: built a civilization of Shadowmancers.
Act 6: Diety was named Nightshade.

Content with having made its chosen people safe for the time being, the entity decided that it would need servants to protect its chosen species while so that the entity itself could focus on other things. It created a vast fortress on the surface of the moon, where it deemed its new creation would be safe and undisturbed, and filled it with the new protector race. The protectors were made so that they only desired to safeguard their gods chosen people, and was thus denied the simplest urges of life such as procreation, sleep and feeding. To make sure they would do their task properly, the entity granted them some of its strength and gave them on the same time the ability to move back and forth through the Nothningness between the orb and its moon. Satisfied and reassured that its people would now be safe, it returned to the Nothingness once more to rest.

Act 4: Erected an enormous fortress on the surface of the moon
Act 5: Created the protector race
Act 6: Empowered the protector race

Baalnawox observes the dry land with its upright apes and sees that it is going to become... political.

The old deity mutates a species further onto the land, like advancing a pawn on a chess board, planning for the moves ahead.

These emissaries of the sea could walk upright, in a pleasing form, yet their authority and loyalty was ever with the old one of the deeps.

Sensing Death enter Creation, Baalnawox nods to his brother-deity. Death will have its day, but Life goes on and the sea keeps its dead.

Act One: Creates the skinchanging Selkie species (wereseals).
Act Two: Gives them an echo of the powers of Baalnawox (water magic).

Act Three: Increases fecundity on the watery orb. (Plagues of bacteria, parasites and insects ensue - oops.)
Act Four: Creates Davey Jones Locker: limbo under the sea, distinct from the void of death.

The entity returned to the orb once more, filled with purpose and an eagerness to create. It went to the great mountains of the earthen surface, and ventured inside them. There, in natural caverns which had not yet been inhabited by the shadowmancers, the entity spawned a new poeple from the rock itself. The new species bore similarities with its chosen people, but were in essance different. They were short, tough, pale and simple minded, made to live in the dark depths without succumbing to the harshness of their sorroundings. The entity infused in them the desire to rule the earth of the orb beneath the surface, and made them crave the minerals the earth had to offer. The only thing they would ever worship other than the minerals they sought was the entity which had created them.
Having spawned these new creatures in several mountanious pockets around the orb, the entity went to the crushing depths of the ocean and created another being there. Like the children of the mountain, they were similar to the chosen species in some ways but different in most. In order to thrive beneath the watery surface, they were gifted with fins instead of legs and geels so that they could breathe under water. The entity made them want the dominion of the sea floor and taught them to make weapons and shape settlements from the materials of the ocean. The children of the sea were made to worship and obey their creator just as the children of the mountain before them. Having spawned them across the ocean floor, it left them to their business and returned to the surface. Once there, it formed itself a body in the shape of its chosen people and inabited it so that it might be part of the world it had created. It decreed that from this day forth, it would be known as Dagos to all of creation.

Act 1: Created the children of the mountain
Act 2: Created the children of the sea
Act 3: Made an avatar for myself

Nightshade looked up to the surface world, seeing all that had changed, The surface people had begun to grow stronger.
She made a pact with a few of the surface people, that if they worship her, she would grant them powers over shadow and darkness. Allowing them to become and munipulate darkness in service to her.

She also saw that there had been a new race that enroached upon her domain, these people that hunger for minerals, she began devising a plan to corrupt or enslave them aswell.

Deep within the underworld, nightshade took the form of a great shadow, able to directly change the temperol world around herself. She Looked up again curiously and saw a new god, a god who created the void of death, she smiled to this foriegn god, promising to him to send plenty of souls for the Void.

Act 1: Corrupted a small segment of surface men.
Act 2: Discovered the underground People.
    Act 3: Took an Avatar.

He That Comes After looked at Orb of Water created and saw the life that all other Deities and created. He saw that the Children of the Mountain had started on the path that inevitably would defile them, cause he is aware of all ends. He noticed that the Children of the Sea would fade away into nothing, cause he is The End of Everything. He does not see the future, all he can see is the End. And he can see that what He creates must End, so he creates a Race that can End. He gives them Fire and he gives them Fear. He gives to them the means to Survive and then End. He gives them will to find their Purpose.

Act 1: Everything must End, sooner or later
Act 2: Creates Children of all Ends
Act 3: Gives his Children a small Portion of His power

    Baalnawox observes the other gods.

Two thirds of the watery-orb's surface remain firmly in his domain, and he considers himself to be winning.

He sees light versus darkness taking shape on the surface and everywhere, even under the sea, death versus life.

    1) Appoints himself opposed to the death-force in the interests of symmetry.
    2) Makes healing a part of water magic; healing springs etc.
    3) Gives organisms the life-affirming response to death, ie, lust after battle, exhileration after danger etc.
    4) Sponsers the evolution of necrophages: maggots, bacteria, fungi etc, to create life from death.
    5) Creates an archipelago of islands and reefs where life rules, ie, maximum fecundity and longevity.
    6) Sets sea monsters to guard the archipelago from all humanoid races except the selkies, so that they have a safe place to breed.

And on the seventh day, Baalnawox went snorkelling, saw what he had created and was all like, omg this is totally cool dudes!

Nightshade sent her corrupted humans back to the rest of humanity, they disguised themselves as normal people, hiding their darkness deep inside themselves, carrying out her will in secret.
Assasinating and corrupting those she wished.

She then turned her attention towards the earthen children, seeking to destroy the interlopers of her domain, she sent out her servants to invade their caverns and caves. Not intending to end them immediatly but only to torment them. To do so, she created a new shadow creature, a small but ferocious creature full of malice. She named the new creature, "Gru" and sent them out to try and populate all of the cracks and caverns of the earth to hinder and punish the earthen children.

Pleased with her creation she turned her eyes towards the surface once again, she saw that the underwater world was blooming to life, a society of sorts was forming. These Selkies interested her, and unknowing of their disposition, she sent out an envoy of corrupted humans to the sea to attempt to make contact with them and their diety. Seeking to know where their alliance stands.

Act 1: sent out the corrupted.
Act 2: began attacking the "Dwarves".
    Act 3: created the "Gru".
Act 4: Sent an envoy to the the Selkies.

The corrupted ones of his chosen species could perhaps hide the taint in their hearts from their own, but not from him. Never from him. When he noticed it, when he saw what the shadowy goddes had done to his beautiful creation, he knew he had done everything for naught and changed. Those that had been corrupted he inflicted with curses. Some were punished to transform into savage beasts by night, praying on their own kind. Others were forced to feed only off the blood of their own. They were all banished from the light of the sun and would only know hate, pain and fear from this day on, to the end of time.

He then left his chosen people and their guardians to fend for themselves, and set out to seek his vengance. He soon found the lairs of the Shadowmancers, and set to work. With one hand he tore the earth and rock above their heads away, so that they were naked before the sun. With his other hand, he opened up a canal to the ocean and let the water fill the underworld, drowning shadowmancers and children of the earth alike.

Nothing could compose him. Not even the death of a hundred tousand of his enemies was enough. In wrath, he called upon the moon and made it crash into the archipelago of the Kraken, for no other reason than wrath. The survivers were soon locked in a battle to the death as the guardians of the archipelago took up arms against the protector race intruders.

Finally, he turned the sky red for 100 days and 100 nights to warn those who had not yet noticed of his fury, and raised a tall tower of the blackest stone from the earth. He climbed the tower to the very top, and sealed the door shut behind him. There he would wait for the other gods to make their move, and make war on them if necessary.

Act 1: Inflicted the corrupted individuals of his chosen species with terrible curses
Act 2: Let the ocean fill up the underworld
Act 3: Threw the moon at Baalnawoxs archipelago
Act 4: Turned the sky red for 100 days and nights
Act 5: Raised a great tower and hid inside it

With Nightshades Shadowmancers nearly extinct, she drew what few remained of them from the wreckage of the underworld. Once she gathered them, she created a void, deep in a part of the earth left untouched. There she lead what remained of the Shadowmancers, leaving them in safety so that one day they could return.

Seeing that the deity had abandoned his people, and darkness ruled the sky once more, she called to her, her cursed humans. She saw that the sunstones were losing their charge and darkness was overcoming even them. Wanting revenge on what to her was an unprovoked attack. She started what was later called, "The great hunt". She and her dark humans hunted, tortured, slaughtered and turned many of the people of the god who attacked her.All along the southern borders of Mans kingdom entire villages and citys lay desolate and in ruin by the end of the hundred days and hundred nights of darkness.

Act 5: Created a Haven to save what was left of her chosen race.
Act 6: Began a great hunt of humans.
