I start to get a bit nippy at 22C. If it's 10C, it could be considered 'freezing' cold.

About 2 degrees is about as low as I've ever known.

To be fair, I am pretty cold tolerant within that range, having slept outdoors in the hills and swum in glacial lakes, but my lungs are not well equipped for the cold, dry air in my old age.

However, even in the middle of winter, I still feel the dread of summer and the killing sun. The coldness of cold is nothing here compared to the hotness of heat. Summer is coming.

Come back when you have to start your car in -38C.

Thing is, there is escape from the cold, whereas no matter of clothing or hot beverages grants reprieve from the onslaught of a summer swelter.

We're hitting the hottest days of Summer here in Arizona, About 47C. Must use caution when entering a parked car; touch nothing metal, nothing black.

All relative to your climate and what you have been exposed to. On night shifts at the moment I am outside at -6C but that is probably nothing to you vikings. It is however cold enough that not many people commit crimes in that temperature over here.

Well, here in central Mexico we deal with 36-40c by day to be contrasted with 10-18c by night, all with added massive thunderstorms and the occasional flood.

Still I'm glad this summer rained more than the last four years.

Well, the summer heat is still as merciless as ever. I find myself turning into a zombie in this climate, so hold on to your brains.
