  • When placing a facade, click and HOLD DOWN the mouse button. This allows you to drag it where it's needed. When lining up facades, it's the only way to do it. NOTE: You can still scroll the screen when dragging around a facade.

  • Sometimes directions like left, right, upper, lower are easier to understand when viewing the facades in the top-down view.

  • Click on picture in Isometric View column to see a larger version (often a *much* larger version).

  • Base Terrain indicates what sound will be played when a player walks over a facade (assuming it can be walked on). In some cases they are listed with a question mark (dirt?), because this was the terrain that showed up when the facade was deleted, but doesn't seem to make sense in terms of the correct sound to be played.

  • In all cases . . . I've never viewed these facades in Arcanum to see what happens.

    Arcanum Facades 93 - 168
Fascade Description Isometric View Base Terrain
    93 & 94 TarantBridge1a & b Start of East/West stone bridge. Here it is in pieces:
    dirt?
95 TarantBridge1x Used to widen this East/West stone bridge. Place between matching pieces. Place several for really, really big bridge.
NOTE: When making a wider bridge, you may need to re-apply the edges, as this facade will overlap the sides of your bridge. If you delete the side piece before re-applying it, you will easily see where it needs to go - over the dirt left behind.
    dirt?
    96 & 97 - TarantBridge2a & b Another part of the East/West stone bridge. Here it is in pieces:
    dirt?
98 & 99 - TarantBridge2Ta & b Another part of the East/West stone bridge. This one with some extra bits on the side (T? Tower?)
    Here it is in pieces:
    dirt?
    100 & 101 - TarantBridge3a & b End of East/West stone bridge. Here it is in pieces:
    dirt?
    102 - TarantBridge3x More bridge filler. dirt?
103 - TarantSB_WEa Looks like a metal fence for greenish liquid, Bottom Edge. A better explaination is more than welcome. dirt?
104 - TarantSB_WEb Looks like a metal fence for greenish liquid. A better explaination is more than welcome. dirt
105 - TarantSB_NSa Looks like a metal fence for greenish liquid, Left Edge. A better explaination is more than welcome. dirt
106_TarantSB_NSb Looks like a metal fence for greenish liquid. A better explaination is more than welcome. dirt
    107-109 - SH_Bridge a-c Stone Bridge. Pieces:
    dirt?

111 - BatesHouse-02 Fancy House, Lower Left dirt
112 - BatesHouse-03 Fancy House, Lower Right dirt
113 - BatesHouse-04 Fancy House, Inner Left Corner dirt

117 - BatesHouse-08 Fancy House, Upper Right Corner dirt
118 - BatesHouse-09 Fancy House, Upper Right Corner (that's right, another upper right corner) dirt
Bates House Complete This should give you a rough idea of where the pices making up the Bates house go. dirt
119-121 - Temple-01-03 Temple, Lower Right Edges and Corner dirt
122-125 - Temple-04-07 Temple, Lower Left Corner dirt
126-131 - Temple-08-13 Temple, Upper Right. Note that piece #13 is not shown where it belongs, which is to the right of #12 dirt
Temple complete Temple when fully assembled. dirt
132-138 - Temple-vines 01-06 & 10 These facades are *exactly* the same as Temple pieces 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 10 above, except for the except as their name implies, the addition of vines. In fact, you will need pieces 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, & 13 to complete this version of the temple. As they are the same, I am only including the complete Temple Vine view. dirt
139 - Black A big black blob. This is the isometric view. In top down view, it runs diagonal, SW/NE. Seems like you would lay this down, and then something like #160 - ElfQueenRoom on top of it. Maybe? NONE
140 - ElvenHut1a This is foundation for placing an elven hut. It belongs in the disc in the upper left corner of the elf village tiles #64-79. This is what it looks like when place correctly:
    dirt?
141 - ElvenHut1b This is foundation for placing an elven hut. It belongs in the disc on the right edge disc of the elf village tiles #64-79. This is what it looks like when place correctly:
    dirt?
142 - ElvenHut1c This is foundation for placing an elven hut. It belongs in the disc on bottom edge of the elf village tiles #64-79. This is what it looks like when place correctly:
    dirt?
143 - ElvenHut2a This is foundation for placing an elven hut. It belongs in the disc in the upper left corner of the elf village tiles #64-79. This is what it looks like when place correctly:
    dirt?
144 - ElvenHut2b This is foundation for placing an elven hut. It belongs in the disc on the right edge disc of the elf village tiles #64-79. This is what it looks like when place correctly:
    dirt?
145 - ElvenHut2c This is foundation for placing an elven hut. It belongs in the disc on bottom edge of the elf village tiles #64-79. This is what it looks like when place correctly:

(Also includes a shot of piece #81 Elfbridge2)
    dirt?
146 - 157 EQT 01, 02, 04-12 Elf Queen Tree. Notice that there is no EQT_03. Here is top down view of the pieces:

Most likely you'll want to build this into a 4x4 grid (use #159 ElfTreeBase to fill in the blanks) and placing the whole thing to right of the 4x4 grid made with pieces #64-79.
    dirt
158 - EQT_Bridge Bridge connecting Elf Queen Tree and the disc on the right edge of the 4x4 grid of elf village pieces #64-79. dirt
159 - ElfTreeBase This is just "blank" elf forest background. It is symetrical and can be placed on any side of itself or any of the other elf forest tiles, since they are all just drawn on this base. dirt
160 - ElfQueenRoom A small room. Could probably be used for something other than a tree interior I suppose. Also looks #139 black goes behind this, to fill out the screen. dirt
161 - Pit-exterior The outside of a pit. Everything except the outter edge is blocked. dirt
162 - Pit-interior Inside of a pit. Only the dirt looking areas are unblocked. Looks like it would work with a few #139 - Black behind it. Because of the blocking, you'll need to teleport people into it. dirt
163 - Pit-exterior-jungle The outside of a pit. Everything except the outter edge is blocked. Exactly like #161, except for the tiles used on the edges of the pit. Based on the name, it's a safe bet this is used with jungle tiles. dirt
164-167 Dock A-D More dock pieces that I don't know what to do with. ** NONE ** dirt
168 - Small-Pit The outside of a small pit. Note that unlike #161 & #163, the interior of this pit is unblocked. dirt
